Exchange rate on August 4: USD price fluctuates in opposite directions on the free market

Meanwhile, at the State Bank, the central exchange rate today decreased by 9 VND compared to the morning of August 1, down to 25,240 VND/USD.

According to the regulated trading band of ±5%, today's ceiling exchange rate is 26,502 VND/USD, and the floor exchange rate is 23,978 VND/USD.

The reference exchange rate at the State Bank's Transaction Office is currently 24,037 - 26,461 VND/USD (buy - sell).

At Vietcombank , the exchange rate announced early this afternoon was 25,980 - 26,370 VND (buy - sell), up 20 VND in both directions.

Updated at 1:45 p.m., the exchange rate at VietinBank was announced as 26,001 - 26,361 VND, a sharp increase of 111 VND in buying price and a decrease of 39 VND in selling price.

In the free market, the VND/USD exchange rate fluctuated, trading at 26,000 - 26,390 VND/VND, down 30 VND for buying and up 30 VND for selling.
