Inauguration of the project to upgrade and expand DT746 road

(BDO) On June 28, with the approval of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board held the inauguration ceremony of the project to upgrade and expand DT746 road (from Tan Thanh intersection to Hoi Nghia intersection).

The project has a route length of 11.4 km, is the main route leading to VSIP III Industrial Park, connecting the Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang dynamic road and Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City.

The project has a total investment capital of 2,931 billion VND from the budget, of which construction and installation costs are 495 billion VND, compensation costs up to 2,053 billion VND and other costs.

The route is an important traffic axis connecting Bac Tan Uyen district, Tan Uyen city with neighboring areas.

The road is designed for a speed of 80 km/h for suburban sections and 50-60 km/h for urban sections. The roadbed width is 38m, arranged for 6 lanes, a median strip, a safety strip and a paved sidewalk for the urban section, and the suburban section is covered with 25cm thick red gravel.

It is known that DT746 road from Tan Thanh intersection to Hoi Nghia intersection is an important traffic axis connecting Bac Tan Uyen district, Tan Uyen city with neighboring areas; is a vital route leading to VSIP III industrial park, connecting Tao Luc Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang road and Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4.

Investing in road construction contributes to gradually completing the infrastructure according to the urban traffic network planning, shortening travel time and transporting goods to important traffic hubs...
