The Provincial People's Committee summarizes the Project on organizing training and operation forces and ensuring regimes and policies for the militia and self-defense forces.

On March 28, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to review 3 years of implementing the Project on organizing forces, training, operating and ensuring regimes and policies for militia and self-defense forces (DQTV) in the province for the period 2021-2025 (referred to as the project). Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the conference. Attending were leaders of departments, branches, sectors and localities.

After 3 years of implementing the project, in the face of certain difficulties, the Party committees, authorities at all levels, agencies and units in the province have paid attention to investing in implementing the project, so the militia force has always been taken care of, consolidated and strengthened comprehensively in both quantity and quality. The work of training, cadre training, drills, competitions and sports competitions of militia and self-defense forces has been increasingly improved in quality, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

Concluding the conference, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Party committees, authorities at all levels, agencies and units to continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the conclusions and directives of the Central and Provincial Party Committees on strengthening the Party's leadership over the militia and self-defense forces in the new situation. Overcome shortcomings and limitations in the implementation process in the past, promptly draw lessons and implement them in the coming time closely, effectively, in accordance with regulations and consistently in the province. Request localities to pay attention to allocating budgets to implement the project according to decentralization to ensure compliance with resolutions of the Provincial and District People's Councils. Organize review, planning, arrangement and assignment of officers of the Commune Military Command to ensure correct and sufficient composition, improving quality. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Military Command to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments and branches to advise the Provincial People's Committee to develop a Project on the working headquarters of the Commune-level Military Command combined with the combat readiness house of the Militia force for the period 2023-2030 according to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 1021/UBND-TCD dated March 8, 2024. In addition, continue to implement the plan to train grassroots military officers according to regulations; ensure the budget for training human resources and civil vessels according to Decree No. 30/2010/ND-CP and 130/2015/ND-CP of the Government; strengthen inspection and examination of state management of militia work; advise and propose the central government to support the budget for militia forces in the province according to the provisions of law.
