Two sisters in critical condition after drinking a strange bottle of water they found

(NLDO) - Two sisters found a strange bottle and thought it was soda so they opened it and drank it. As a result, both had to be hospitalized in critical condition.

On February 2 (the 5th day of the Lunar New Year), information from Yen Thanh District General Hospital ( Nghe An province) said that it had just received emergency treatment for 2 children in the area suspected of being poisoned by rat poison.

According to the patient's family, on the morning of the same day, PVK (4 years old) and his sister PTH (9 years old, both living in Phuc Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district) followed their mother to the rice field.

While their mother was working, H. and her sister picked up a strange pink bottle of water. Thinking it was a soft drink, they both opened it and drank it. Just a few minutes later, Huyen and her sister fell into convulsions, their bodies turning purple.

Discovering the incident, relatives immediately took the two children to Yen Thanh District General Hospital for emergency treatment in a state of pale skin, vomiting, and convulsions.

After initial treatment, both were transferred to the provincial hospital for further emergency treatment in critical condition.
