On the afternoon of September 19, the qualifying round of the WPA Men's 10-Ball World Championship concluded after two days of intense competition. Vietnam had two more players advance to the final round.

In the winning bracket, Nguyen Van Huynh defeated Ho So Phat to directly qualify for the final round. In the losing bracket, another Vietnamese player won a ticket to the final round spectacularly, Nguyen Bao Chau.

Many Vietnamese players participated in the main event of Men's 10-ball Pool, but all of them had to stop when facing many quality opponents. Specifically, Nguyen Anh Tuan (nickname Tkon) also had to leave early.

Thus, host Vietnam will have 4 players in the final round including Van Huynh, Bao Chau and 2 special tickets from before: Duong Quoc Hoang (Hoang "Sao") and Pham Phuong Nam.

International players highly rated in the qualifying round such as AJ Manas (Philippines) or Neuhausen (Germany) still maintained their form and did not encounter much difficulty in winning tickets to the final round from September 20.

The 16 players who passed the qualifying round are: AJ Manas, Gamas Edwin, Jeffrey Prieto, Jonas Magpantay, Lin Ta Li, Liu Ri Teng, Mark Estiola, Michael Feliciano, Moritz Neuhausen, Nguyen Bao Chau, Nguyen Van Huynh, Raymund Faraon, Sun Yi Hsuan, Wang Ming, Yukio Akagariyama, Zhu Xihe.

The 2025 WPA Men's 10-Ball World Championship will take place at Military Zone 7 Stadium (HCMC) from September 20 to 28. The total prize fund is up to 425,000 USD (about 11.2 billion VND).

The 2025 Men's 10-Ball World Championship has a total prize of 250,000 USD (nearly 7 billion VND), of which the champion will receive 70,000 USD (more than 1.8 billion VND).

At the same time, fans will also have the opportunity to watch the Box Billiards Mixed Doubles tournament (10 balls, mixed doubles) and the Poison Cues Saigon Women's 9-Ball Open international tournament, jointly organized by Box Billiards and the Ho Chi Minh City Billiards & Snooker Federation, lasting from September 17 to 28.
