An Giang Provincial People's Committee Office improves the quality of consultation and service

After the merger, the Office of the People's Committee of An Giang province has 152 civil servants, 57 officials receiving salaries from the budget, 42 officials receiving salaries from career revenue and 21 labor contracts. After 2 months, the Office has stabilized its organization, ensuring good advisory, synthesis and service functions, monitoring and urging the implementation of tasks assigned by the Government , the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee.

From July 1st to now, the office has received more than 11,000 documents, issued over 4,400 directive and administrative documents, and publicized 2,175 administrative procedures, of which 1,837 procedures were handled at the public administrative service center. The office served more than 50 meetings and conferences of the Provincial People's Committee, and received 6 Central working delegations...

The management of facilities and vehicles is ensured in a timely manner. 100% of civil servants process and digitally sign documents on electronic software; the online conference system operates 68 meetings, connecting to 102 communes, wards and special zones. The Office strengthens coordination with departments, branches and localities, and provides timely advice in accordance with the working regulations of the Provincial People's Committee.

Speaking at the conference, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the Provincial People's Committee Office in both arranging the apparatus and advising and effectively serving the direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Phong suggested that in the coming time, the office should continue to promote its role and responsibility, care about the lives and spirit of cadres, civil servants and public employees; improve the quality of consulting, especially monitoring and urging work in direction and administration.

Perfecting working processes and regulations; unifying effective work handling methods; promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation, aiming to modernize direction and administration work, serving the people and businesses more and more openly, transparently, and better. At the same time, continuing to improve the organization and personnel; reviewing and arranging work reasonably, promoting the strengths of each cadre, building a team of civil servants and public employees with strong political will and exemplary public service ethics.

In the immediate future, the Provincial People's Committee's staff office will supplement enough staff according to the project, especially the team of research specialists to improve the quality of consulting and synthesis. The office needs to strengthen coordination, tighten discipline and administrative discipline, establish an effective coordination mechanism with departments, branches and localities, ensuring fast and accurate information. At the same time, advise the Provincial People's Committee to organize events well, complete the growth target for 2025 and prepare to serve the APEC Conference 2027.
