"Therefore, you can optimize your abilities and get an absolutely high standard score," Associate Professor Dr. Ha Le Kim Anh explained.

More importantly, many good candidates with high test scores also want to enroll in pedagogical majors and become teachers in the future.

Second, for many years now, the English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean Pedagogy majors have had a large number of applicants. In 2025, the number of applicants will be much higher. Third, candidates who win provincial-level excellent student awards and Hanoi National University Olympia High School Awards will receive bonus points.

“Currently, there is still a shortage of foreign language teachers across the country, especially English teachers, so many excellent students enrolling in the pedagogical field is a good sign,” Associate Professor Dr. Ha Le Kim Anh acknowledged, adding that when Vietnam implements the project to make English the second language in universities, the University of Foreign Languages ​​hopes that the Ministry of Education and Training will increase the quota for the Foreign Language Pedagogy field, especially English Pedagogy, to create more opportunities for candidates.

“In 2025, the University of Education (Hue University) was assigned 2,300 quotas but there were more than 22,000 applications, a “competition” ratio of nearly 1/10.
