Vietnam is an active and proactive member of AIPA.

Over the past 29 years of joining AIPO/AIPA (1995-2024), the Vietnamese National Assembly has always actively proposed many initiatives to make the regional inter-parliamentary cooperation mechanism more and more effective. Vietnam's contributions to AIPA have affirmed Vietnam's role in inter-parliamentary forums, bringing parliamentary diplomacy to contribute to enhancing the country's position, image and prestige.
