Continuing the revolutionary path of hero Ly Tu Trong

Ha Tinh is proud to be the hometown of hero Ly Tu Trong - the first communist youth union member. The image of Ly Tu Trong is always a "bright torch" that lights the way for the younger generation. Continuing that revolutionary spirit, Ha Tinh youth are constantly making efforts, being creative, and taking the lead in building their homeland to become more and more prosperous.

Nurturing the fire and will of Ly Tu Trong

Ha Tinh land is a “fire pan, rain bag” but rich in historical and cultural traditions - the birthplace of many famous people and heroes who have contributed to forming the unique identity of Ha Tinh youth. A typical example is the young man with a strong revolutionary spirit, Ly Tu Trong (born on 20/20/1914, died on 21/11/1931).

Comrade Ly Tu Trong was the first communist youth union member, sacrificed when he was only 17 years old, but his loyalty and indomitability with the famous saying "The path of youth is only the revolutionary path, there can be no other path" has become a life ideal to urge generations of Vietnamese youth to maintain their faith, courage, actively study, work, and be creative to contribute to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Ny Huong shared: Continuing the spirit of hero Ly Tu Trong, in the new period, generations of union members and young people in Ha Tinh always uphold the spirit of shock and volunteerism in all fields, pioneering in taking on new and difficult tasks, striving to start a business, establish a career, participate in socio -economic development, build new rural areas, civilized urban areas, take the lead in digital transformation, administrative reform; inherit, continue and spread the cultural identity of Ha Tinh people to all directions.

Identifying revolutionary tradition education for the young generation as one of the key and regular tasks of the Youth Union and youth movement in the whole province, in recent times, Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province have focused on implementing many activities to educate revolutionary tradition, study and follow the example of comrade Ly Tu Trong in conjunction with implementing patriotic emulation movements in localities and units.

Typical movements include: Organizing thematic activities, periodic activities, organizing forums, seminars, exchanges, dialogues, meetings with historical witnesses, and thematic talks; organizing journeys to red addresses - revolutionary historical sites combined with traditional activities, recruiting new members; launching history learning competitions, revolutionary song propaganda festivals; building QR codes for propaganda information about red addresses and revolutionary historical sites in the whole province.

Youth organizations also organized many gratitude activities to demonstrate the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", "Repaying gratitude", social security activities, volunteering for community life. Mobilizing human and material resources to effectively carry out youth projects and tasks such as embellishing and restoring historical and cultural relics, and projects to honor martyrs in the province.

In particular, the Dong Loc T-junction relic site and Ly Tu Trong Memorial Site have been effective in promoting and disseminating cultural values, and are red addresses for educating revolutionary traditions for generations of young people.

Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union accompanies and supports members and youth in economic development through activities guiding youth in building economic models, clubs, and youth cooperatives for economic development; promoting support for youth in applying high technology science and technology in production...

The Provincial Youth Union focuses on developing young human resources; strengthening solutions to support young people in studying, scientific research, vocational training, job creation, start-ups, career establishment, and innovation through the implementation of the "Green credit program to support Ha Tinh youth in starting a business in the period of 2022 - 2025" with a total preferential loan capital of 20 billion VND for young people; advising the province to issue a Resolution on credit policy to support young people in starting a business in the period of 2024 - 2026 with a capital of 50 billion VND...

The Provincial Youth Union organizes creative idea competitions in various fields and subjects; organizes Creative Idea Festivals; promotes the creative labor emulation movement, improves the level of digital transformation application for young people; promotes and encourages reading culture and intellectual property culture to encourage and nurture the development of a creative environment among young people.

Through these activities, the young generation has been able to arouse their spirit of initiative and creativity, promote traditional cultural values, and contribute their youth to building their homeland and country to become more and more developed.
