The Ceremony to Honor the Enterprise with the Largest Budget Contribution in 2025 was held with the presence of many senior leaders, economic experts and representatives of nearly 200 typical enterprises across the country.
Honoring the silent "heroes" of the economy
On September 9, the Ceremony to Honor the Enterprises Contributing the Largest Budget in Vietnam in 2025 was organized by the CafeF Economic and Financial Information Channel (under VCCORP Joint Stock Company), recognizing the outstanding contributions of the business community to the State Budget in 2024.
The Honoring Ceremony was attended by many senior leaders, economic experts and representatives of nearly 200 typical enterprises across the country. This is an annual activity to honor enterprises that have made great contributions to the national budget, affirming the leading role and strength of the Vietnamese business community.
The focus of the ceremony was the announcement of two rankings: VNTAX 200, including enterprises with budget contributions of VND 200 billion or more; PRIVATE 100, honoring private enterprises with contributions of VND 100 billion or more. These two lists not only show impressive financial figures, but also reflect the efforts, sustainable development and social responsibility of Vietnamese enterprises.
In his welcome speech, Mr. Pham Quang Minh, Director of CafeF (under VCCORP Joint Stock Company), emphasized the role of the business community in the context of the state budget revenue exceeding the estimate in 2024, reaching more than 2 million billion VND. Of which, the VNTAX 200 group contributed nearly 800,000 billion VND and PRIVATE 100 contributed nearly 245,000 billion VND. This is an important resource affirming the position of Vietnamese enterprises in the digital age.
Spreading power from leading enterprises
Dr. Nguyen Van Phung, former Director of the Large Enterprise Tax Management Department (General Department of Taxation, now the Tax Department) said that, in addition to enterprises paying thousands of billions of VND, we need to especially respect enterprises at the level of 100-300 billion VND.
According to Mr. Phung, the nature of the new source of revenue is the core. He highly appreciates the sustainability of corporate income tax and personal income tax, instead of depending on the exploitation of natural resources. Private enterprises, although not the largest in scale, but with stable growth and regular contributions, are the healthy "cells", creating development momentum and spreading innovative thinking in production and business.
Tax experts believe that every contribution, no matter how big or small, is valuable and demonstrates the business community's sense of responsibility, patriotism and solidarity with the country.
