Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc, Head of the Organizing Committee of the National Professional Football Tournaments 2024-2025, affirmed to strictly handle all unsportsmanlike behavior, to improve the image and professional quality of the tournament.
This morning, November 15, the Standing Committee of the Tournament Organizing Committee (OC) met to discuss and evaluate the events that occurred after the match between Ho Chi Minh City Youth Club and PVF-CAND Club in the National First Division at Thong Nhat Stadium on the evening of November 14. The documents and reports on the violations have been fully compiled by the Tournament Organizing Committee and sent to the VFF Disciplinary Board for consideration and handling.

In the match between Ho Chi Minh City Youth Club and PVF CAND in the 4th round of the First Division, the highlight of the match was the ugly image with bad behavior from the leaders and coaching staff of PVF CAND Club when there were reactions, insulting the referee team with many uncontrolled words, along with the scuffle that happened in the tunnel when returning to the dressing room between Nguyen Xuan Nam (PVF-CAND) and Vu Van Son (Ho Chi Minh City Youth).
The above mentioned incidents seriously violate the tournament regulations of the Vietnamese professional football regulations. In particular, unsportsmanlike behavior and physical abuse of others are always strongly condemned in any tournament in the world and in Vietnam is no exception.
Through the discussion, Head of the Organizing Committee of professional football tournaments, Mr. Minh Ngoc affirmed his view that bad and unsportsmanlike behavior must be condemned and handled severely.
Based on related reports and documents, the tournament's organizing committee has proposed to handle the scuffle between players Xuan Nam (PVF-CAND) and Van Son (Tre TP HCM) in the tunnel area.

Specifically, player Xuan Nam was the one who initiated aggressive words and actions towards player Van Son. This aggressive and brawling incident seriously violated the regulations of the Professional Football Regulations, the Tournament Regulations and the VFF Disciplinary Regulations, therefore, it needs to be strictly considered and punished.
In addition to the scuffle between the two players, the tournament organizers also sent a report requesting consideration and harsher penalties for the reaction, insulting and insulting the referee after the match between Mr. Mai Trung Hai - Head of PVF-CAND Club and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Nga - Media Officer of PVF-CAND Club. In particular, the Head of PVF-CAND received a red card at the end of the match.
