Phu My commune takes high-tech agriculture as the foundation for development

Phu My Commune Party Committee was established on the basis of merging 3 Party Committees: Phu My town, My Quang commune and My Chanh Tay commune of Phu My district (old).

During the 2020-2025 term, the Commune Party Committee has led and directed the implementation of many important results in various fields. The economy has maintained a fairly high growth rate; the material and spiritual life of the people has been constantly improved.

In the 2025-2030 term, Phu My Commune Party Committee sets a target of 16.6% growth rate in total local product value, 50 million USD export turnover, attracting 20 investment projects, and over 90% of grassroots Party organizations completing their tasks well or better.

Speaking at the Congress, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Thi Phong Vu requested that Phu My Commune Party Committee strengthen Party building and rectification, striving to develop the locality to be worthy of being a key commune of the province.

In terms of economy, the orientation is to take industry and construction as the mainstay, high-tech agriculture as the foundation, and services as the driving force for development. In particular, focus on developing industry, handicrafts and services in a sustainable manner, effectively promoting the potential of industrial clusters in the area.

Continue to develop high-tech agriculture associated with new rural construction, promote the transformation of crop and livestock structure. Along with the synchronous completion of socio-economic infrastructure, the commune needs to focus on cultural and social development, improve the quality of life of the people and take people as the center and driving force of development.

After the Congress, the new Party Committee needs to urgently concretize the resolution into specific action plans and programs, close to the actual situation, following the motto "clear people, clear work, clear time, clear responsibility, clear products, clear authority", to build the locality to be increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.

The Congress announced the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Party Executive Committee of Phu My commune for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 25 comrades; comrade Phung Duy Hai was appointed to hold the position of Party Secretary of the commune.
