Tan Hoi Commune takes advantage of merger to open up new development space

On August 21, Tan Hoi Commune Party Committee (An Giang province) held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province Tran Thi Thanh Huong attended and directed the congress.

In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee and people of Tan Hoi commune strived to achieve many important and comprehensive results in all fields. The economy developed quite well, the total production value of some main industries reached more than 4,100 billion VND, the average income per capita reached 66.54 million VND, the poverty rate decreased to 0.78%.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang Province Tran Thi Thanh Huong delivered a speech directing the congress.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, comrade Tran Thi Thanh Huong commended, highly appreciated and congratulated the achievements of the Party Committee and people of Tan Hoi commune in the past time.

In the new term, he requested the Tan Hoi Commune Party Committee to continue to promote the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system to be clean and strong in all aspects; promptly concretize and deploy the effective implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; play the role of a nucleus of solidarity, unity, and comprehensive leadership of the local innovation and development process.

Being a locality with an agricultural proportion of up to 70% of the economic structure opens up many opportunities for Tan Hoi commune to continue to exploit and develop. The resolution of the Tan Hoi commune Party Congress clearly defines the goal of promoting economic restructuring, increasing the value and efficiency of agricultural production; developing the economy in a green, digital and sustainable direction; taking science, technology, and innovation as a premise for development.

Comrade Tran Thi Thanh Huong suggested that the commune have breakthrough solutions to exploit the local potential and advantages in the field of agriculture, socio-economic development, and improve people's lives.

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee to appoint 31 comrades to join the Executive Committee of Tan Hoi Commune Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term; 9 comrades to join the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee. Comrade Nguyen Hoang Kha was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of Tan Hoi Commune Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.
