Suburban communes bustling with Mid-Autumn Festival lantern processions

The "Mid-Autumn Lantern Procession 2023" festival in Dong Mon commune, Ha Tinh city created a joyful and exciting atmosphere, attracting a large number of people and children to participate.

On the evening of September 27, Dong Mon Commune People's Committee organized the "Mid-Autumn Lantern Procession 2023" festival.

Originating from small models, from the processions around the residential areas of the villages on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival, this year, the people of Dong Mon commune organized a large-scale and systematic lantern procession. Participating in the festival were 9 processions from villages in the whole commune.

The lantern models are elaborately designed, inspired by the 12 zodiac animals, fairy tales, etc. In the photo: The model of the Truong Sa sovereignty landmark was brought into the procession by the people of Tien Tien village.

The Mid-Autumn Festival lantern procession passes through Dong Mon and Ngo Quyen streets... In the photo: The dragon mascot, more than 10m long and 1m wide, of the people of Thang Loi village participates in the parade.

The parade also included lion and dragon dance teams.

The lantern models designed by local people are funny and friendly to children. Nguyen Thao Ha (Thang Loi village, Dong Mon commune) said: "The Mid-Autumn lanterns are beautiful. I really like these models."

Everyone was excited to participate in the lantern procession. Mr. Phan Dang Hai (Thach Trung commune, Ha Tinh city) shared: "My family brought my children here to play early. This year's models are designed to be bigger and more beautiful. The vibrant atmosphere makes everyone very happy."

Many people inside and outside the commune and children admired the colorful lanterns in the middle of the night street.

The lantern procession is not only a playground for children but also leaves many echoes in the hearts of each person about the vibrant and colorful festival night.
