Xbox confirmed to attend Gamescom 2023

According to VGC , Xbox and Bethesda have announced that they will be present at Gamescom 2023. The news was announced on the official Gamescom Twitter account.

No further details were released, but the announcement marks the second of the big three console companies to confirm their attendance at the event. Nintendo previously confirmed in April that it would be attending Gamescom this year.

Gamescom will take place from August 23-27. The Gamescom Opening Night Live event, hosted by Geoff Keighley, will return on August 22.

Xbox & Bethesda's biggest release of 2023, Starfield , will also be released 2 weeks after Gamescom 2023. In addition, another big Xbox game this year, Forza Motorsport, will be released on October 10 for Xbox Series X/S and PC.

The last time Nintendo attended Gamescom was in 2019, when it mainly showed off games that were coming out later that year. It also had a large number of booths at the show where customers could try out the games.

As for PlayStation, the company may not attend Gamescom. According to German newspaper GamesMarkt, Sony has no plans to attend this year's game show.
