Appearing at an event in Ho Chi Minh City, Miss Ngoc Chau continued to receive much attention from the public. Specifically, the beauty stood out with straight bangs and a rather unique strapless dress. However, the beauty queen's somewhat swollen, unnatural face was immediately discussed.

Many viewers believe that this is the result of plastic surgery and overuse of cosmetic procedures. However, others believe that she gained weight partly due to the way she wears makeup and hair.

This is not the first time Ngoc Chau has been the target of mixed opinions about her appearance on social media. A few months after returning "empty-handed" from Miss Universe 2022 , Ngoc Chau was also suspected of having plastic surgery because her face was unusually swollen. However, the 29-year-old beauty quickly denied it.

When appearing at an event in March 2023, Ngoc Chau revealed her less-than-slim, concave waistline, causing confusion. Many people believe that the Tay Ninh -born model had undergone abdominal surgery and the results were not as expected.

In response, Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 said she had gained nearly 60kg due to irregular eating. The beauty from Tay Ninh also said she would adjust her diet to regain her original figure.

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau was born in 1994, from Tay Ninh. She was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2022, becoming Vietnam's representative at the Miss Universe 2022 contest held in the US.

Previously, Ngoc Chau won many awards such as Miss Supranational Vietnam 2018 and Champion of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2016.

When she was first crowned, Ngoc Chau impressed with her sweet beauty and was compared to an "Asian doll". However, during her term, the beauty queen was often suspected of having undergone "plastic surgery". However, she repeatedly denied having had plastic surgery.
