However, the top 15 in some subjects also includes schools in suburban areas such as Dai Cuong High School, Thuong Tin High School, Dong Quan High School, Tien Phong High School... These are all schools with low entrance scores to grade 10 compared to the general level and much different from high schools in inner-city areas.

Hanoi Department of Education and Training said that Hanoi's high school graduation rate in 2024 reached 99.8%, 0.24% higher than the high school graduation exam last year.

The city has 194 out of 269 schools with a graduation rate of 100%, an increase of 54 schools compared to last year's exam.

In this year’s high school graduation exam, Hanoi had 915 exams with a score of 10. Of which, civic education was the subject with the most 10s (245), followed by foreign languages ​​(173). Of the 173 foreign language exams, English had the most 10s with 148 10s, accounting for more than 1/4 of the total number of English exams with a score of 10 nationwide.
