I am 25 years old, not married, for about 3 years now my period has been irregular, sparse and very little.
Ovarian reserve index test shows AMH is only 0.01; ultrasound shows gynecological infection. Do I still have hope of having children in the future, doctor? ( Que Chi, Ho Chi Minh City ).

The AMH level indicates the number of developing follicles and primordial follicle populations present in a woman's ovaries. In healthy women under 38 years of age, normal AMH levels range from 2-6.8 ng/ml. An AMH level of 1-1.5 ng/ml indicates low ovarian reserve.
You are 25 years old, still very young but the AMH index of 0.01 is classified as premature ovarian failure. Over time, the ovaries will continue to decline until they are completely exhausted, like women in menopause, at which point the chance of getting pregnant and giving birth with your own eggs is 0.
If you are currently single, unmarried and planning to have children in the future, you should freeze your eggs to preserve fertility as soon as possible, before your ovaries are completely exhausted.
At IVFTA-HCMC, you will receive a comprehensive examination, blood prolactin level test, and ovarian follicle ultrasound. Normally, in the case of a single patient with an almost depleted AMH level, the doctors at IVFTA-HCMC will develop an egg collection strategy. Depending on your condition and wishes, you will be stimulated for more than one cycle. After being aspirated from the ovaries, the ovarian follicles will be frozen and stored at -196 degrees Celsius in liquid nitrogen, helping to preserve the best quality until use.

The egg collection strategy is to help you store many eggs. In the future, if you start a family, the stored eggs can be thawed and enough embryos can be created to have the desired number of children.
Egg freezing also helps you delay and take the initiative in getting pregnant and giving birth without worrying about your ovaries completely depleting over time. If you freeze your eggs now, you can still get pregnant and give birth to a healthy baby by the age of 30 or 35 through in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Gynecological infections can also affect the ability to conceive and give birth later. Before transferring the embryo into the uterus, doctors will develop a treatment plan for infections, prepare the lining to ensure the embryo adheres and develops well, helping the patient's pregnancy and childbirth journey to take place smoothly and completely.
