In the book Raising an Entrepreneur , Ms. Margot Machol Bisnow - an American expert in child-rearing advice - points out 5 personality traits commonly found in children who have the potential to be successful in the future.

Persist

Children with a persistent personality will not give up easily until they find a solution to a problem, or have learned something from the experience. These children have patience and are not discouraged by the thoughts and reactions of others.

One example Ms. Bisnow gave was American entrepreneur Jonathan Neman. Mr. Neman tried many business activities since he was in high school. However, none of his ideas were successful.

After graduating from college, he founded the Sweetgreen chain of healthy fast food restaurants. Today, the chain has grown to become a success and has over 900 locations in the United States.

Entrepreneur Neman is a prime example of perseverance despite repeated failures. He has demonstrated this valuable trait since his teenage years.

"I just keep moving forward, even though I fail a lot, I still try to move forward with new ideas. I am not smarter or more talented than anyone else, but I am more persistent and resilient than many people," said Mr. Neman.

Curious

Being curious, inquisitive in the way of observing and liking to ask many questions about things and events around them is a sign of a child with great potential.

American entrepreneur Tania Yuki, founder of social media trend analysis company Shareablee, remembers a childhood memory. One day, she and her father stopped by an expensive gift shop.
