76 people tested positive for drugs in a luxury karaoke bar in Rach Gia City

At 1 a.m. on June 4, the Drug Crime Investigation Department of Kien Giang Province Police coordinated with professional units to inspect Luxy karaoke bar on Ton Duc Thang Street (Vinh Lac Ward, Rach Gia City), discovering 76 people testing positive for drugs.

Luxy karaoke bar is one of the most luxurious karaoke places in Rach Gia city, belonging to Victory karaoke company limited.

During the inspection of 12 rooms in Luxy karaoke bar, police discovered 110 men and women renting rooms to sing.

Seeing the police, many people ran away but were detained. Police confiscated 6 bags and 13 tablets suspected to be drugs. Through rapid testing, 76 people tested positive for drugs.

Pham Minh Kha and Ho Phuong Anh at the police station.

The police have detained Pham Minh Kha (37 years old, residing in Tan Hiep district) and Ho Phuong Anh (23 years old, residing in Rach Gia city) to investigate the act of illegal possession of drugs. The remaining people were handed over to the local police to be handled according to regulations.
