NDO - The 2024 National Vocational Education Teachers' Conference with the theme: Vocational Education Teachers: Exemplary - Creative - Digital - Integration, coordinated by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province, will be held from November 4 to 10 in Quang Ninh province.
On the afternoon of October 30, in Hanoi , the General Department of Vocational Education (Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs) organized a press conference on the 2024 National Vocational Education Teachers' Conference.
This is a teaching conference held every three years to honor vocational teachers; to encourage and motivate teachers to stay committed to their profession; to motivate vocational teachers to strive and improve themselves to meet the requirements of innovation and improve the quality of vocational education.
Promote emulation movements for good teaching, innovate teaching methods, contribute to promoting the digital transformation process in vocational education institutions; create opportunities for teachers to study, exchange and share experiences in teaching.
At the same time, attract the attention of ministries, branches, localities and the whole society; create motivation for the development of vocational education of each ministry, branch and locality; contribute to strengthening the trust of society, especially of learners, in the quality of the vocational education system.
At the press conference, Deputy Director General of Vocational Education Nguyen Thi Viet Huong said that the 2024 Teaching Conference carries the message "Vocational education teachers: Exemplary, creative, digital, integrated - Driving force for the development of open, flexible, modern, inclusive vocational education" with 9 outstanding new points, such as:
This is the Teaching Conference with the largest number of participating teachers and delegations ever: 462 teachers from 68 delegations from 61 localities and 7 ministries, branches, and socio-political organizations.
The lecture session had the largest number of practical and integrated lectures ever (416/462 lectures, accounting for more than 90% of the total number of lectures participating in the lecture session); showing that vocational education teachers are not only talented in pedagogy but also excellent in vocational skills, in line with the characteristics of vocational education which is to train human resources with professional qualifications and vocational skills to meet the requirements of the labor market.
The lecture session had a very diverse number of industries and professions: 462 presentations in 116 different industries and professions, including many industries and professions with great human resource needs, suitable for current socio-economic development requirements.
The lecture session had many presentations applying information technology to exploit, design, and use digital learning materials to increase interaction with learners - the most vivid proof of the digital transformation process in vocational education, demonstrating the efforts of teachers to innovate teaching methods, meeting the requirements of digital transformation in vocational education.
The lecture session had many presentations related to new industries, professions, and new skills; the lecture content focused on professional ethics, industrial style, labor safety, and environmental hygiene.
The presentations that won high prizes at the teaching conference (First, Second, Third) will be archived and shared; forming a digital lecture material repository for teachers to refer to and use.
