Strategic cooperation to elevate Vietnamese medicine
Under the agreement, Stratasys will cooperate with Vinmec and VinUni to implement high-quality training programs in Germany and India for doctors and biomedical engineers, to ensure 3D printed products meet international standards. At the same time, the three parties will cooperate in research, development and production of 3D printed medical equipment and simulation models for teaching, training of resident physicians and scientific research.
The event was attended by many senior leaders, including Prof. Dr. Tran Trung Dung - General Director of Vinmec Healthcare System, Prof. Michelle Hermiston - Director of the Institute of Health Sciences, VinUni University, and Mr. Rajiv Bajaj - Managing Director of Stratasys in India, Southeast Asia and Australia - New Zealand.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Dr. Tran Trung Dung - General Director of VinMec Healthcare System - shared: "We are proud to be one of the pioneers in applying 3D printing technology in training and treatment in Vietnam. The cooperation with Stratasys will help Vinmec improve its professional capacity, while bringing a more modern, accurate and safer healthcare experience to the community."
Professor Michelle Hermiston - Director of the Institute of Health Sciences, VinUni University - emphasized: "This signing event marks an important step forward in training a generation of Vietnamese doctors and medical researchers to access the most advanced 3D technology in the world ".
Mr. Rajiv Bajaj - Managing Director of Stratasys for India, Southeast Asia and Australia - New Zealand - affirmed: "The establishment of the 3D Printing Technology Application Simulation Center at VinUni is a strategic step, demonstrating Stratasys' long-term commitment to promoting innovation in education and healthcare in Vietnam".
