Bac Ninh has open dialogue with businesses, moving forward with entrepreneurs

On the morning of November 16, at Kinh Bac Cultural Center, Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee organized a special meeting program for businessmen in November 2024. The program focused on market development and management.

The program aims to exchange, share, and directly interact between the provincial government and businessmen, representatives of enterprises/cooperatives/market management boards, and representatives of units that have, are, and will invest in building, managing, and exploiting the market.

Through the program of implementing instructions, sharing information, absorbing creativity and solving difficulties and problems in the process of market development and management, contributing to promoting investment in construction, renovation and upgrading of infrastructure of markets in the province to be spacious, clean, safe, meeting the criteria of modern civilized commercial infrastructure.

Speaking at the program, Standing Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Dao Quang Khai assessed that in recent times, enterprises in the province in general, and enterprises investing in the field of commercial infrastructure in particular, have increasingly affirmed their core and pioneering role, making positive contributions to the construction and development of the local socio-economy .

Many entrepreneurs have clearly demonstrated the qualities and mettle of modern Vietnamese entrepreneurs, always being dynamic, creative, proactive in integration, affirming their position, ensuring stable and developing business; at the same time, always being responsible to the community and society, actively participating in social security programs.

With the spirit of "4 together" proposed by the Prime Minister , which are: "Listen and understand together", "share vision and action together", "work together, win together, enjoy together", and "develop together" and the spirit of the provincial government: "Bac Ninh always accompanies businesses", the general message of the 2024 monthly Business Meeting Program is "Connecting trust, moving forward with businesses"; Thematic Business Meeting Program in November 2024 with the message "Sharing information - developing with businesses".

"In that spirit, businesses attending today's meeting will share their understanding and good practices to speed up the progress of investment in construction, transformation of management models, exploitation and market business in the province, bringing benefits to the businesses themselves and the common benefits to the province," said Vice Chairman Dao Quang Khai.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao Quang Khai asked businesses to actively propose new and creative solutions to share their understanding and good practices to speed up the progress of investment in construction, transformation of management models, exploitation and market business in the province, bringing benefits to the businesses themselves and the common interests of the province.

In the spirit of dialogue without distance, if businesses and entrepreneurs encounter difficulties or problems, they can discuss immediately without having to wait until the month with related topics. At the same time, after the meetings, the province will have concluding documents to promptly resolve the difficulties of businesses.

Bac Ninh commits to always accompany businesses. Accordingly, the province will strive to improve the investment and business environment in the area to create the most favorable conditions for business development on the basis that Bac Ninh province will create the most transparent and clear legal framework.

In Bac Ninh province, there are currently 106 markets (including 1 class 1 market, 12 class 2 markets, 93 class 3 markets), with the main function of retailing essential goods and food serving the daily life of the people. Most of the markets are small in scale, there is no wholesale market to perform the function of wholesaling, collecting and distributing goods.

In recent times, the investment, construction, management and exploitation of markets in the province have had positive changes. Many markets have been newly built or upgraded, renovated and converted to operating models to improve business efficiency and increase state budget revenue, such as Chau Cau Market, Pho Moi Central Market (Que Vo), Nam Son Market, Gia Binh Town Central Market, Thua Town Central Market, Nga Tu Dau Market (Thuan Thanh)....

In the markets after the management model conversion has gradually become more orderly, the operations of small traders are stable, attracting a stable number of people to visit and shop for goods, which has increased over time.

In addition, the product lines have been arranged and organized, maintenance and periodic repair of construction items in the market have been carried out, security, order, environmental sanitation, and fire prevention and fighting have been paid attention to and significantly improved.

At the program, the leaders of Bac Ninh province also introduced a number of new regulations on Decree 60 of the Government; Document No. 3283 of the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of Decree No. 60 on market development and management; Providing key information on market development content integrated in the Bac Ninh Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.
