Bac Ninh listens to businesses to accompany development

On June 3, Bac Ninh successfully organized the Dialogue Conference with enterprises, cooperatives, business households and the Dialogue Conference with FDI enterprises in 2023.

Leaders of Bac Ninh province and VCCI presented flowers to congratulate 5 expert teams that helped overcome difficulties.

The conference took place at the Great Hall of Kinh Bac Cultural Center, No. 2 Kinh Duong Vuong Street, Suoi Hoa Ward, Bac Ninh City. The morning was the Dialogue Conference with domestic enterprises, cooperatives, and business households and the afternoon was the Dialogue Conference with FDI enterprises.

Attending the Conference were Secretary General of the Vietnam Confederation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Tran Thi Lan Anh; representatives of central agencies, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Public Security ; on the side of Bac Ninh province, there was the participation of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan; members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, leaders of the People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, leaders of central agencies, departments, branches, sectors of the province, districts, towns, cities; and representatives of nearly 250 enterprises, cooperatives, and business households in the province.

With the motto "Listen - understand - accompany and share the same aspirations for development", in the past year, the leaders of Bac Ninh province regularly organized working sessions with departments, branches, localities, businesses and people to listen to their thoughts and aspirations, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, conclude strong and comprehensive development orientations in a sustainable direction; promptly issue many directive documents, synchronously manage solutions, strengthen dialogue with businesses, workers and laborers...

At the dialogue, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan said that this is an annual conference, an opportunity for businesses, cooperatives and business households to frankly discuss the difficulties and obstacles in the recent past. From there, the authorities of Bac Ninh province at all levels grasp the practical issues that are arising, thereby having measures to overcome and remove them for business units to improve the efficiency of the investment environment and sustainable development.

According to Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, the context of 2023 poses many difficulties and challenges for Bac Ninh province. The world and domestic economic situation has significantly affected the production, business and import-export activities of enterprises.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that leaders of departments, branches, sectors and units, after receiving recommendations and proposals from enterprises, cooperatives and business households, must promptly make timely decisions, issue support mechanisms and policies, and innovative and reform solutions suitable to reality.

"The authorities are always receptive and ready to listen to suggestions and recommendations from the business community to accompany development," Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan affirmed.

Businesses had very frank exchanges at the Conference.

At the dialogue session, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province announced the Decision and launched 5 expert groups to solve difficulties, including: The expert group to solve difficulties on investment led by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Xuan, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; The expert group to solve difficulties on land and environment led by Mr. Ho Nguyen Hong, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; The expert group to solve difficulties on planning and construction led by Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung, Director of the Department of Construction; The expert group to solve difficulties on labor led by Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chinh, Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; The expert group to solve difficulties on security and safety led by Mr. Bui Chien Thang, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police.

The Team Leaders are responsible for grasping difficulties and problems, and at the same time synthesizing the recommendations of enterprises, then advising the Provincial People's Committee to quickly resolve problems for enterprises, contributing to improving the production and business environment and enhancing economic development efficiency.

Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong chaired the 2023 FDI Enterprise Dialogue Conference.

During the discussion, the Conference received 130 direct and written comments, focusing on the following groups of issues: investment; land, environment; planning, construction; labor, health; fire prevention and fighting; security and safety.

After receiving recommendations and proposals in each field, representatives of the relevant agencies responded directly to the issue and proposed a number of solutions to resolve the problems. For recommendations that could not be answered immediately at the Conference, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province directed units and departments to respond in writing, or within 10 days, schedule a meeting with business representatives to resolve the issues, creating the most favorable conditions for business operations.

Concluding the Conference, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan expressed his appreciation for the contributions of the business community to Bac Ninh province in the past time. He emphasized that Bac Ninh always considers the success or failure of businesses as its own success or failure; the advantages and difficulties of businesses are the advantages and difficulties of the province, therefore, Bac Ninh will work together to remove difficulties for businesses to achieve better goals.

At the same time, the Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee expressed his wish that the business community share the province's vision and development aspirations in the coming period; and be transparent in their approach to create an equal business environment.

Representative of FDI enterprise spoke and made recommendations at the Conference.
