Bac Ninh strengthens inspection, examination and handling of violations in the field of geology and minerals

BAC NINH - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao Quang Khai has just signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 2196/UBND-KTN requesting departments, branches, units and localities in the province to strengthen inspection, examination and handling of violations in the field of geology and minerals in Bac Ninh province.

Specifically, the People's Committees of communes and wards organize propaganda and dissemination of laws on geology and minerals to officials, party members, businesses and people in the area, and at the same time do a good job of managing mineral exploitation and transportation activities in the locality.

Localities do a good job of managing mineral exploitation and transportation activities.

Direct specialized departments to strengthen supervision and inspection of mineral exploitation and transportation activities in the area; promptly detect, prevent and handle organizations and individuals violating the law.

The Provincial Inspectorate shall preside over and coordinate the inspection and examination of the responsibilities of agencies, heads of agencies and localities in mineral management and activities in the province to promptly detect, prevent violations and recommend handling.

Proactively report and propose to competent authorities to consider and handle organizations and individuals with negative behaviors, corruption, protection, and cover-up of mineral management and exploitation activities in the province, ensuring strictness, timeliness, and compliance with legal regulations.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to conduct a comprehensive review and inspection of mineral exploitation projects for common construction materials such as: Filling soil, sand and gravel, etc. Resolutely and strictly handle relevant organizations and individuals if illegal exploitation occurs, exceeding the prescribed limits.

Publicly announce the hotline of the Department of Agriculture and Environment to receive information, feedback and denunciations from people about violations of organizations and individuals licensed to exploit and transport minerals in the province in order to promptly prevent and strictly handle violations according to regulations.

Monitor and urge departments, agencies and local authorities to seriously implement assigned tasks; synthesize results and report to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee according to regulations.

Media agencies continue to promote the role of information and press agencies, especially in orienting information in the fight against and criticizing violations of the law on mineral resources. Coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to report news and articles on incidents, cases, and results of handling incidents and cases in the mineral sector, in order to contribute to raising awareness of law compliance among agencies, organizations, businesses and people.
