On December 28, the Steering Committee of 35 provinces organized a drill to combat, prevent and handle bad and toxic information on the internet and social networks in 2024.

At the same time, specify the coordination process for handling bad and toxic information, fighting against wrong and hostile views on cyberspace of the Steering Committee of 35 provinces; improve the capacity to direct, organize activities, and handle situations related to complicated and sensitive cases, of public concern, and new issues arising on the Internet and social networks.

He requested delegates and forces participating in the conference to build and operate the actual process when deploying activities to combat, prevent and handle bad and toxic information on the Internet and social networks to ensure smoothness, synchronization and high efficiency. In 2025, based on the actual situation, propose to organize exercises at a number of district-level Party Committees and equivalent levels so as not to be passive and surprised in any situation.
