Defense Command of Region 2 - Dong Gia Nghia launched an emulation campaign of 80 days and nights of exemplary action.

On the morning of September 29, the Defense Command of Region 2 - Dong Gia Nghia (Lam Dong) held a ceremony to launch a peak emulation campaign to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the traditional day of Military Region 7 with the theme of 80 days and nights of exemplary action.

The emulation campaign is held in the context that the entire Party, people and army are making efforts to achieve achievements in successfully implementing the goals and tasks of 2025, a year of special importance as the country enters a new stage of development.

Units under the Defense Command of Region 2 signed a competition agreement.

According to the plan, the emulation campaign focuses on key contents: promoting exemplary will and sense of responsibility; excellently completing political tasks; strictly abiding by discipline, ensuring absolute safety in all activities; organizing commemorative activities to achieve the highest results.

The competition lasts for 80 days, from October 3 to December 22.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Viet Thanh, Deputy Political Commissar of the Defense Command of Region 2 - Dong Gia Nghia, affirmed that the emulation campaign is a practical activity to celebrate important political events of the country, the Army and the Military Region.

At the same time, call on all cadres, soldiers, militia and reserve forces to promote the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, determination to strive for many outstanding achievements, and build a strong and comprehensive "Exemplary and typical" agency and unit.

Lieutenant Colonel Phan Huy Hung, Commander of the Defense Command of Region 2, awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in emulation movements and activities to celebrate major national holidays.

Through the emulation campaign, the Defense Command of Region 2 aims to educate , propagate, and motivate officers and soldiers of all forces to actively achieve many achievements to welcome the 1st Congress of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030; the 12th Congress of the Army Party Committee; celebrate the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Military Region 7.

On this occasion, the Defense Command of Region 2 - Dong Gia Nghia awarded certificates of merit to 2 collectives and 21 individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and the peak emulation period of Raising the August Red Flag - Emulation to win 3 first place.
