The workshop focused on the content, building a solid foundation so that businesses do not have to worry about foreseeable incidents; how to master the media to control their own story instead of letting others tell it; protecting the biggest asset to confidently protect brand reputation in all situations and the journey of rebuilding, turning crisis into opportunity to build a stronger business.

Businesses and experts join in sharing at the workshop

According to Mr. Phan Quoc Vinh, the crisis may be caused by the company's own faults such as attitude, quality, etc., but sometimes it is misunderstood or it may be due to unexpected reasons. The cause may originate from objective factors, human factors or internal causes. All risks can be predicted and prevented through the establishment of a risk management process. At the same time, build an early warning system for risks by determining the target of the warning system; collecting data; analyzing and identifying signs of crisis; building warning indicators and thresholds; setting up automatic monitoring tools; developing specific response procedures; training employees on the system and response; testing the system with hypothetical tests; continuously monitoring and improving the system; reporting and adjusting the system periodically.

The core principles of crisis management are to identify threats before they occur; understand the problem before responding; admit mistakes and identify areas for improvement. The principle of action always puts the interests of customers and affected people first, to restore customer and public trust. At the same time, businesses need to be transparent in handling crises by acknowledging the crisis, providing access to spokespersons, providing honest and accurate information, publishing investigation processes and roadmaps; proactively providing information; being straightforward about sensitive or confidential information.

At the workshop, businesses also shared about communication methods and risk handling, and presented in-depth discussion situations to find solutions.

Signing of memorandum of understanding between CEO Hue and units
Mr. Phan Quoc Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance, shared that enterprises have an important contribution to growth, and the city is paying great attention to accompanying enterprises. Currently, the work of supporting enterprises is being strongly innovated, from policies, procedures to consulting, connecting and training. This support not only helps to overcome immediate difficulties but also promotes innovation, enhances brands and sustainable development in the long term. As the competitive environment becomes increasingly fierce and the media directly impacts production and business activities, the mettle of enterprises is increasingly challenged.

At the workshop, the CSMO Executive Board in Hue also officially launched and signed a strategic cooperation agreement to accompany the local business community.
