When will Hanoi announce the 10th grade entrance exam scores?

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training said that immediately after candidates completed the final exam of the 10th grade entrance exam, the department directed 201 testing sites to urgently collect papers and related documents and hand them over to the exam board and grading board.

Candidates taking the 10th grade exam in Hanoi this year will know their exam results no later than July 4.

From the afternoon of June 11, the multiple-choice test scoring board prepared computers, installed software, and reviewed all conditions for organizing the test scoring to ensure security, safety, and confidentiality in accordance with regulations.

From June 12, the exam marking began and lasted until June 25. The Hanoi Department of Education and Training mobilized about 2,100 teachers from secondary and high schools to mark this year's exams.

It is expected that by July 4 at the latest, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will announce the exam scores of candidates on the department's electronic information portal (https://www.hanoi.edu.vn).

Based on the assigned 10th grade enrollment quota, score distribution and expected benchmark scores provided by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, public high schools in the city will propose the benchmark scores for 10th grade admission for the 2023-2024 school year. The Department will meet and approve the benchmark scores for 10th grade admission for each school and publicly announce them.

The expected announcement date for admission scores for specialized and non-specialized public high schools is from July 8 to 9. To be admitted to non-specialized public high schools, candidates must complete three exams in math, literature, and foreign language, without violating regulations and without any score of 0. The admission score is the sum of the literature and math scores multiplied by two, plus the foreign language score and priority points, if any.

Confirmation of admission will be done online and in person from 1:30 p.m. July 10 to July 12; application submission will be from July 17 to 22.
