Candidates who have passed the university entrance exam must log in to the Ministry's general admission system at: http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn to confirm their admission.

Online confirmation of admission on the common system is required

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , before 5:00 p.m. on August 30, all successful candidates (including direct candidates) must confirm their admission online on the Ministry's common system (if they wish to study). If they do not do so, their admission results will be canceled.

The Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that this is a mandatory step to ensure the right to admission and avoid the situation of "fake" candidates causing difficulties for the enrollment work of universities. Confirming admission on time helps schools to quickly stabilize the enrollment work, preparing for the new school year.

To confirm admission, candidates follow these steps:

Step 1: Log in to the system with personal identification number, login code, confirmation code.

Step 2: Go to "Look up admission results" to check the "Pass" or "Fail" results of each wish.

Step 3: If the result is "Pass", click "Confirm admission" and click "Agree".

Step 4: Check the display status "Enrolled" - which means successful confirmation.

Candidates admitted to university need to log in to the common system of the Ministry of Education and Training to confirm their admission.

Candidates should note that after confirming admission, they cannot cancel directly on the system. If they want to withdraw their wishes, they must contact the university for consideration.

Candidates who have passed the entrance exam and have confirmed their enrollment will not be considered for additional admission, except in cases where the head of the training institution allows them not to enroll.

If candidates do not confirm their admission on the system, it is considered as a rejection of the admission result. These candidates can continue to register for additional admission.

Register for additional admission from September 1st

In addition to the general regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, training institutions may have additional requirements. Therefore, candidates need to follow the specific requirements of each university to complete the admission procedures in accordance with regulations.

In fact, some schools currently require admitted candidates to complete three steps: confirm admission on the ministry's system, declare information online on the school's own system, and enroll directly according to the announced schedule.

If not completed within 15 days of admission without valid reason, the school will remove the name from the admission list.

The Ministry of Education and Training also stipulates that training institutions are not allowed to complete admission confirmation or end admission before 5:00 p.m. on August 30 (including for joint training programs with foreign countries).

From September 1 to December 2025, candidates who need to apply for additional admission rounds of the training institution, follow the admission information posted on the university's admission information page (if the school still has quotas for additional admission).

Currently, many universities across the country have announced to continue additional enrollment with hundreds of quotas in dozens of majors.

Candidates who have confirmed their admission will not be allowed to participate in additional sessions, unless approved by the head of the training institution.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, as of 12 noon on August 26, more than 560,000 candidates had confirmed their successful enrollment (exceeding the total number of candidates admitted in the first round of 2024).

The Ministry also affirmed that all qualified candidates will definitely be notified of their admission in time to enroll on time.
