During the period of 2020 - 2025, the Newspaper has successfully completed its assigned political tasks, closely following its objectives and purposes, meeting the needs of readers, becoming an important information channel serving the leadership, direction and administration of the City Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee; promptly reflecting many urgent people's issues.
Regarding the promotion of the emulation movement "Good people, good deeds" from 2020 to 2025, Hanoi Moi Newspaper has published more than 2,000 news and articles about typical advanced examples, good people, good deeds (DHTT, NTVT) in print newspapers, publications and electronic newspapers, and the Newspaper's specialized pages. Of which, more than 400 articles participated in the Writing Contest on VDHTT, NTVT. In 2025, the Newspaper won the Special Prize in the Writing Contest on VDHTT, NTVT.

In addition, the Newspaper launches special emulation movements on the occasion of the annual anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, to honor collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the following activities: Advertising and propaganda exploitation; organizing media events (forums, seminars, workshops).

At the conference, on behalf of the Party Committee, Editorial Board, and Trade Union Executive Board, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper Lai Ba Ha launched the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2025 - 2030 with the theme "Solidarity - Discipline - Responsibility - Action - Creativity - Development - Breakthrough".
The common and consistent goal of emulation movements is to promote democracy, solidarity, proactive adaptation, active innovation, creativity, and excellent completion of tasks.

The Newspaper Office strengthens the application of digital transformation, soon becoming an electronic Office; advises the Editorial Board to perform well the financial, organizational and personnel work, focus on training, fostering, and building high-quality human resources with enough heart - talent - intelligence - morality, working professionally, responsibly, and effectively...
The Executive Committee of the Trade Union coordinates with the Office to monitor and urge the organization of emulation movements of Good People, Good Deeds; promote administrative reform; organize peak emulation activities to celebrate major holidays and important political events of the Capital and the country every year...
The Party Committee and the Editorial Board of the Newspaper set the goal: Creativity and initiative in leadership, direction and implementation of assigned tasks. Each department and affiliated unit selects key tasks to direct staff and employees to strive to complete their tasks excellently. Each officer and employee must comply with discipline, solidarity, have many initiatives, solutions, and good ways of doing things to contribute to the unit and the social community.

Speaking at the conference, Party Secretary and Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper Nguyen Minh Duc emphasized that over the past 5 years, Hanoi Moi Newspaper has carried out an exciting emulation movement, thereby discovering many examples of UDTT and NTVT. The newspaper published many articles, including thousands of articles about UDTT and NTVT examples. The newspaper also had many individuals who won emulation titles and won journalism awards from the city, the Central Government and other sectors.
Comrade Nguyen Minh Duc suggested that, entering the new journey, the collective of workers of the Newspaper continue to create a new spirit, carry out well the emulation movements. The field of journalism is demanding creative journalistic works, therefore, each unit and individual needs to have initiatives, increase discovery to have many creative journalistic works, spread widely on social networks, and be honored in awards.
“With that spirit, I hope and believe that Hanoi Moi Newspaper will continue to unite and unite to create a new emulation movement and achieve high results in the 2025-2030 period,” affirmed Hanoi Moi Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Minh Duc.
