After 2 days of surgery, the penis was preserved pink, well-perfused, the surgical wound was dry, absorbed little fluid, and showed no signs of infection. The patient was regularly examined by the doctor after surgery, and given a treatment regimen to monitor erectile recovery later.

Dr. Bui Van Quang warned that this is a rare and rare incident but leaves behind a complex, crushed wound, making it difficult to treat and preserve the severed penis. In the case of a completely severed penis, the patient needs to wrap the severed penis in a clean plastic bag or box, ensuring as much sterility as possible. This penis should be soaked in 0.9% saline and kept in ice, then quickly go to a urologist to perform penile reattachment surgery. Note that the patient should not soak the penis directly in ice because this can cause tissue damage.
