Nghe An Provincial Police have just coordinated with the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention ( Ministry of Public Security ) to destroy a transnational crime ring, arresting 12 people related to the website "Thiendia2.cc" spreading obscene cultural products. This website has more than 1.1 million members worldwide, has distributed over 19 million obscene contents with hundreds of millions of visits.
Initially, this page was named "Green House", divided into many sections, including forums with obscene and pornographic content, videos , images, pornographic stories, prostitution advertisements...
To manage and operate the line, this group created 61 decentralized administrative accounts, including a general Super Admin account located abroad. The group operates according to the tasks assigned by the Super Admin, via Telegram chat. The Super Admin pays monthly via virtual currency.

Nguyen Duc Vinh (born in 1975, residing in Quan Bau ward, Vinh city, Nghe An province) was identified as the operator of the above line in Vietnam.
On April 25, the Special Investigation Committee organized 12 working groups to simultaneously search and arrest 12 people in the ring in 12 provinces and cities.
In addition to Nguyen Duc Vinh, the remaining 11 people arrested by the police include: Trinh Anh Tuan (born 1984), residing in Lam Dong province; Phan Vinh San (born 1996), residing in Thua Thien - Hue province; Truong Gia Huy (born 1993), Ly Chi Quan (born 1991), Nguyen Phuc Nghia (born 2002), residing in Ho Chi Minh City; Nguyen Binh Duong (born 1986), residing in Vinh Long province; Pham Van Hieu (born 1986), residing in Lai Chau province; Phan Thanh Tien (born 1988), residing in Ca Mau province; Do Xuan Khai (born 1996), residing in Dak Lak province; and Nguyen Manh Cuong and Nguyen Thi Huong Quynh, residing in Hai Phong.

The seized evidence included 7 desktop computers, 4 laptops, and 20 mobile phones, which were used to disseminate millions of obscene photos, stories, and videos on the "Thien Dia" forum.
During the investigation, the police determined that the group had illegally profited more than 3 billion VND. At the police station, all of them confessed to their crimes, their statements consistent with the documents and evidence collected.
Nghe An police are temporarily detaining 10 people to investigate the act of "Disseminating obscene cultural products" and to expand the investigation. Nguyen Duc Vinh and Trinh Anh Tuan both have many serious illnesses and have difficulty moving, so they have been prevented from leaving their place of residence.
