Bat Xat: 1 person was crushed to death by a rock while digging for bamboo rats in the bamboo forest.

At about 2:30 p.m. on April 19, the People's Committee of Trinh Tuong commune, Bat Xat district received a report that a resident was crushed to death by a rock in the bamboo forest of Na Doong village.

A representative of the People's Committee of Trinh Tuong commune said that immediately after receiving the news, the local authorities notified the District Police and Commune Police to investigate and clarify the incident, and at the same time directed the commune military force to participate in helping to bring the victims out of the accident site.

Initial verification revealed that the victim was Mr. Tan PH.D., born in 1971, residing in Tan Tien village, Trinh Tuong commune. Mr. D. was crushed by a rock while digging a hole to catch a bamboo rat in the bamboo forest in Na Doong village.

The case is currently being investigated by Bat Xat District Police. The victim has been taken away from the scene and handed over to his family for burial according to local customs.
