Hung Vuong Hospital won second prize in the Ho Chi Minh City Innovation Award 2025

This is a typical award considered and awarded by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to authors and groups of authors of research projects, solutions, and creative works that effectively contribute to the development of Ho Chi Minh City in all areas of social life. The 4th Ho Chi Minh City Creative Award received 292 projects, works, solutions, and topics. Among the 292 projects, the work of Hung Vuong Hospital stood out for its breakthrough and high applicability, opening up new hope for women facing difficulties in their journey to motherhood. By using PRF lysate - a biological preparation extracted from the patient's own blood , doctors have succeeded in restoring the endometrium - a vital factor that helps the embryo attach and develop.

On July 2, Associate Professor, Doctor, Doctor Hoang Thi Diem Tuyet, Director of Hung Vuong Hospital, said that "research on the application of platelet concentration technology to endometrial regeneration" is not only a theoretical work but has brought practical results. 2 out of 3 patients undergoing experimental treatment have successfully become pregnant , after many failures with other methods. With outstanding improvements compared to previous generations of products, PRF lysate is in liquid form, easy to inject, does not require additives or activating chemicals, is highly active and especially is created by a simple process, low cost, easy to apply widely in hospitals.

"The study was conducted with the aim of providing experimental evidence from basic research to clinical application on the impact of platelet concentrate technology products on endometrial regeneration. The research topic was carried out combining preclinical and clinical research content, so the tests were performed on both animals and humans," said Associate Professor Tuyet.

From the initial success, Hung Vuong Hospital is continuing to perfect the PRF lysate production process, evaluate the effectiveness with larger patient samples, standardize the preservation process, and expand the application to other fields of regenerative medicine.

With the support of research units, reproductive support facilities and the city government, the project will continue to be expanded, to "Lighting up the sacred dream of motherhood for thousands of Vietnamese women ," shared the Director of Hung Vuong Hospital.
