Beyoncé's (43) latest album Cowboy Carter has helped her achieve a total of 103 certifications including Platinum; the lead single Texas Hold 'Em was certified Platinum (sales of over 1 million copies) and 16 Carriages was also certified Gold (over 500,000 copies).
Beyoncé has received numerous Grammy Awards and many other music awards.
The singer's 2008 album I Am Sasha Fierce , which featured the hits Single Ladies and Halo , was certified Diamond (over 10 million copies), along with dozens of other certifications from all her solo albums in 2013.
Beyoncé won her first Billboard country music award last week and is on track to win the 2025 Grammy. In early December 2024, Beyoncé topped Billboard 's list of the 25 best pop artists of the past 25 years, ahead of Taylor Swift and Rihanna. According to the RIAA, the multi-Garmmy winner has sold 29.5 million albums and 200 million singles (as a solo artist) in the US.
In 2009, Billboard named Houston-born singer Teas the Top Radio Songs Artist of the Decade, Top Female Artist of the 2000s, and presented her with the Millennium Award in 2011. Time magazine listed her among the 100 Most Influential People in the World in 2013 and 2014. Forbes also named her the most powerful woman in entertainment in 2015. In 2016, Beyoncé appeared at number 6 on its Person of the Year list.
