On the afternoon of November 13, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung came to celebrate the National Great Unity Day with the people of Tien Phong village, Quang Vinh commune (Duc Tho).

Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Nguyen Dinh Hai and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Tran Nhat Tan attended.

Tien Phong village (Quang Vinh commune) currently has 90 households with 4 self-governing groups to ensure security and order. As a locality located in the flood-prone area, often affected by natural disasters and floods, but thanks to the direction and guidance of the superior front, the Party Committee of Tien Phong village has promoted its responsibility, coordinated with the village Party Committee to promote propaganda work, mobilized people in residential areas to effectively carry out patriotic emulation movements and campaigns; people unite to help each other develop the economy . Thanks to that, the picture of the countryside in Tien Phong village has changed dramatically.

The whole village now has only 1 poor household and 5 near-poor households. The average income per capita (in 2 consecutive years 2022 and 2023) reaches 75 million VND/person/year. Notably, the village has 24 fishing households who previously lived on the river, now supported by the Party Committees at all levels and businesses to build spacious and solid adjacent housing areas and are granted land use right certificates.

The village also planned 3 sports fields to create favorable conditions for people to exercise and improve their spiritual life. Security and order work has been maintained, for many years in a row there have been no violations of the law in the area. Last year, the village had 86/90 households achieving the title of cultural family. The village has completed the standard of a model new rural residential area.

Speaking at the festival, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung said that Tien Phong village has made significant progress in all areas, especially in building new rural areas and model residential areas; people's lives have been increasingly improved. In particular, 24 fishing households have had a stable place to live, gradually stabilizing their lives, creating conditions for their children to go to school. This result is thanks to the drastic participation of Party committees and authorities at all levels and the joint efforts of businesses, philanthropists and children living far from home.

The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that in the coming time, Quang Vinh commune in general and Tien Phong village in particular will continue to pay more attention to the material and spiritual life of the people; maintain national solidarity, build cultural life; actively apply scientific and technological advances in production and livestock breeding to make people's lives increasingly prosperous and happy. At the same time, actively build a new model new rural residential area, a sustainable, bright, green, clean and beautiful new rural commune.
