Nghe An Provincial Military Command handed over 260 two-wheeled motorbikes to grassroots military forces.

On the morning of September 1, the Military Command of Nghe An province organized a handover of 2-wheeled motorbikes to the Military Commands at the commune and ward levels in the whole province. This is part of the plan to equip more than 6,000 motorbikes for grassroots military forces nationwide, in order to improve mobility and meet the requirements of military and defense tasks in the new situation.

Implementing the direction of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense from July 2025, the General Department of Logistics and Technology has deployed a plan to purchase and equip more than 6,000 motorbikes for more than 3,000 Military Commands at the commune and ward levels across the country. Accordingly, Nghe An province was allocated 260 Honda Wave Alpha brand 2-wheeled motorbikes.

Immediately after receiving the vehicle, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command inspected the safety of the equipment and technical system, completed the registration of military license plates and vehicle registration certificates in accordance with regulations, and handed it over to 130 Military Commands of communes and wards in the area (2 vehicles per commune and ward).

At the same time, thoroughly understand, guide and require units after receiving the vehicles to effectively manage, exploit, use for the right purpose, ensure safety, economy, contributing to effectively and qualitatively serving local defense and military tasks.

Providing two-wheeled motorbikes to the Military Commands of communes and wards demonstrates the deep concern of the Party and State, the determination of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense in building local armed forces to become more standardized and modern, contributing to building and consolidating an increasingly solid national defense, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation./.
