On the afternoon of March 30, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to send off the Ministry of Public Security's rescue troops to carry out search and rescue missions, contributing to overcoming the severe consequences caused by the earthquake in Myanmar on March 28.
Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen, Deputy Minister of Public Security, presided over the ceremony. Attending the ceremony were representatives of functional units under the Ministry, along with all officers and soldiers participating in the Working Group.

The Ministry of Public Security's dispatch of a working group to Myanmar to assist in searching for victims, rescuing, providing humanitarian aid, helping people overcome the consequences and soon stabilize their lives will contribute to overcoming the consequences and difficulties that Myanmar is suffering after the earthquake.
That is also the good tradition of mutual love of the Vietnamese people, the 50-year traditional good relationship between Vietnam and Myanmar in general, and between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of Home Affairs of Myanmar in particular.
Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen affirmed that this is not the first time the Ministry of Public Security has participated in international search and rescue; joining hands with countries and organizations around the world to respond to and overcome the consequences of disasters and natural disasters is an extremely important task of the Ministry of Public Security, contributing to affirming the role of Vietnam as a responsible member of the international community, ready to join hands to solve difficult problems, challenges and maintain a peaceful and stable environment for cooperation and development in the region and the world.
Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen requested the working delegation to identify that this is both a responsibility and an honor and pride for each officer and soldier. Therefore, it is necessary to overcome all difficulties and hardships, promote the spirit of "helping friends as helping yourself," consider "your losses as your losses," carry out the task with the highest determination and effort to help friends quickly overcome the damage and consequences of the earthquake, while at the same time implementing the moral tradition and beautiful image of the country and people of Vietnam.
The Deputy Minister requested the working delegation to strictly comply with the regulations of the Party, State and the Public Security sector in performing international obligations, have clear assignment of tasks and working regulations, maintain proper etiquette and manners, strictly implement reporting regime; ensure absolute safety for the members of the delegation and vehicles in all situations.
Always promote the qualities and bravery of a revolutionary police officer, uphold discipline and solidarity, not fearing difficulties and dangers, mutual love and support; at the same time, closely coordinate with the working delegation of the People's Army to build and spread a beautiful image of the country, the people of Vietnam and the armed forces of Vietnam.
