Ministry of Science and Technology works with technology enterprises to promote digital transformation

The Ministry of Science and Technology plans to work with units implementing digital transformation. On March 27, a working delegation of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) led by Mr. Dao Ngoc Chien, Director of the State Key Office, worked with representatives of CMC Corporation on the implementation of two ongoing national digital transformation tasks.

The two National Digital Transformation tasks that CMC undertakes are: Committing to building the CMC Cloud cloud computing platform to become the number 1 cloud computing platform for Vietnamese people and building the Vietnamese AI knowledge platform - Open ecosystem C.OpenAI, with 2 products Virtual Assistant C.LS.

Representatives of the Ministry of Science and Technology grasped the future technology development needs of CMC Group and shared the policies that the Ministry will implement in the coming time.

Mr. Dao Ngoc Chien highly appreciated CMC's efforts in developing core technology, CMC's needs and emphasized the need for cooperation between State management agencies and private enterprises in major projects on digital transformation. The Ministry of Science and Technology also proposed support directions to help CMC better access resources from the State, thereby accelerating the process of research and application of technology into practice.

Resolution 57 sets the goal of forming 5 large digital technology corporations by 2025 on par with advanced countries. Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung said: To develop science , technology, innovation and digital transformation, large enterprises must take the lead. To have large enterprises, the State needs to assign large tasks, place orders, and assign tasks so that Vietnamese enterprises can "grow up".

To implement Resolution 57 into life, at the National Forum on Vietnamese digital technology enterprises in early 2025, a number of large domestic digital enterprises took on the task of mastering technologies: 5G, 6G, Blockchain, IoT, Vietnamese AI model, AI virtual assistant... These are core technologies that create breakthroughs for the development of digital technology and new technology.

The Minister of Science and Technology assigned Mr. Dao Ngoc Chien to preside over discussions with units to seek effective cooperation solutions, ensuring sustainability and long-term benefits for both sides.

Regarding the two tasks of National Digital Transformation, Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung directed and requested CMC to deploy quickly, ensuring the correct content of the commitment can measure the results and report to the Government.
