Adding 4 sand mines for Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang highway

On June 24, at the 34th session (special session), the People's Council of Soc Trang province approved the exploitation of 4 river sand mines as common construction materials to supply for Component Project 4, Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang Expressway.

Sand mines approved by the People's Council of Soc Trang province to be put into exploitation include: MS08 mine in Song Phung commune, Dai Ngai town (Long Phu district) and An Thanh 1 commune (Cu Lao Dung district), area of ​​35 hectares, reserves of about 700,000m ³ ; MS09 mine in Long Phu town (Long Phu district) and An Thanh Tay commune, Dai An 1 commune (Cu Lao Dung district), area of ​​100 hectares, reserves of 600,000m ³ ; MS12 mine in An Lac Tay commune (Ke Sach district), area of ​​more than 32.4 hectares, reserves of more than 185,000m ³ ; MS02 mine in Phong Nam commune, An Lac Tay commune (Ke Sach district), area of ​​3 hectares, reserves of 63,000m ³ .

The total reserve of the 4 river sand mines above is more than 1.5 million ^m3 , with an area of ​​about 170 hectares. The above sand mines will be completed to hand over to the contractor for exploitation and supply to Component 4 Project, meeting the construction progress of the project.
