Senior Lieutenant General Khamliang Outhakaysone, member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and Minister of National Defense, received the delegation.

In the atmosphere of the traditional Bupimay New Year, Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh, Commander of Military Region 4, congratulated Senior Lieutenant General Khamliang Outhakaysone on his recent appointment as Minister of National Defense of Laos.

The Command of Military Region 4 sincerely thanks the Lao Ministry of National Defense for always paying attention and helping the Military Region to successfully complete its defense foreign affairs tasks. In particular, it regularly directs Lao units and localities to coordinate with provinces from Thanh Hoa to Hue City and Division 324, Division 968 (Military Region 4) to successfully implement the annual military and defense coordination program. Create conditions for Military Region 4 to successfully implement projects and models of livestock and crop farming; build factories to process agricultural products and medicinal herbs, organize the purchase of people's products, and help Lao people in difficult areas and border areas to develop their economy.

The Lao Ministry of National Defense also directed and assisted units of Military Region 4 in carrying out the task of searching for and collecting the remains of martyrs in Laos to repatriate them to Vietnam for burial, achieving good results.

The Command of Military Region 4 hopes that Senior Lieutenant General Khamliang Outhakaysone will continue to pay attention to helping the forces of the Military Region coordinate to effectively carry out economic tasks combined with national defense and security, especially to carry out well the survey and construction of new projects and models to help people develop the economy in difficult areas. At the same time, continue to direct the forces to coordinate and help the Collection Teams of the Military Region to effectively carry out the task of surveying, searching, and collecting martyrs' remains in the dry season of 2024 - 2025 and the following years.
