Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched the "Identity" contest

On the morning of August 15, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a press conference to launch the "Identity" Contest to encourage and mobilize the broad participation of the community in learning, preserving and promoting Vietnamese cultural identity; On the morning of August 15, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism officially launched the "Identity" Contest. The contest will contribute to strongly spreading Vietnamese cultural and spiritual values ​​to the domestic and international communities.

The contest is designed with two main parts to ensure diversity and attractiveness:

Vodcast “Identity Dialogue”: This is a creative competition, encouraging contestants to produce short videos (vodcasts) to share their experiences, stories, and unique perspectives on topics related to Vietnamese cultural identity. The organizers hope this will be a multi-dimensional forum where traditional values ​​are connected with contemporary culture.

“Understanding Identity” Test : This section will focus on knowledge about Vietnamese history, culture, arts, tourism and people. Questions will also cover the outstanding achievements of the Cultural Industry over the past 80 years, helping participants consolidate and expand their knowledge.

The contest is open to all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners living, studying and working in Vietnam, regardless of age, gender or occupation.

Vodcast submission period: From August 15, 2025 to August 25, 2025 .

Voting organization for Vodcast and Knowledge contest: From August 28, 2025 to September 6, 2025 .

Total prize value is 100,000,000 VND excluding gifts and exhibits.

In particular, for the Vodcast Contest "Identity Dialogue" : 1 prize for the dialogue pair with the highest total votes: 20,000,000 VND; 3 individual prizes (highest number of votes on 1 vodcast, highest total votes on all vodcasts, highest total number of single vodcasts entered into the voting round): Each prize is 10,000,000 VND.

In addition, there are also awards for officials and civil servants in the culture, sports and tourism sector with 1 award for the most outstanding and most voted work: 10,000,000 VND and 1 award for the author with the most voted works: 5,000,000 VND.

For the "Understanding Identity" Quiz Contest : 1 First Prize: 10,000,000 VND; 1 Second Prize: 5,000,000 VND; 1 Third Prize: 3,000,000 VND and other secondary prizes.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism hopes to receive the attention and support of journalists, reporters and editors in introducing and spreading the "Identity" Contest to the public, contributing to honoring and preserving national cultural identity.
