Nguyen Vu said that for him, being able to stand on stage and sing is happiness. The male singer even declared: "Directors and entertainment companies with programs can call me, I promise not to ask for a salary."
When asked if he was afraid of being called "out of date" or "unavailable", Nguyen Vu said he accepted it. "In this profession, old bamboo grows new bamboo, new waves push old ones, that's normal. I know where I am and what I have," the singer said.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, Nguyen Vu has witnessed many of his friends passing away at a young age, most recently model and designer Nam Phong. That made him unable to hold back his tears when recalling it, but he also told himself to live a more useful life and contribute more.
Recently, Nguyen Vu launched the music project Vietnam: The Rising Era, including 34 songs praising the beauty of 34 provinces and cities after the merger process, with the desire to spread good values about the country's innovation. Among them, some songs were composed by himself.
Nguyen Vu and his team felt proud when all difficulties were overcome and the project was completed on schedule. Thanks to this project, Nguyen Vu refused many foreign shows and had the opportunity to be closer to his mother. He said that his mother was getting old so he just wanted to spend as much time as possible with her.
Nguyen Vu also hopes that these songs will contribute to honoring and promoting the beauty of the provinces and cities, calling for the preservation and promotion of regional cultural values, praising the friendly beauty of the Vietnamese people and especially expressing gratitude for the heroic sacrifices of heroes.
He hopes to have the opportunity to bring these songs to perform in localities, along with local artists to spread love for his homeland to everyone.
