Extremely rare case of identical triplets

Jenni, 27, and James Casper, 26, live in Yorkshire (UK). They already have two daughters. Initially, when Jenni first became pregnant, the couple were expecting twins, according to the Daily Mail (UK).

Jenni Casper has given birth to triplets and all three look exactly alike.

It wasn't until her 12th week of pregnancy that Jenni went for an ultrasound and was told she was carrying triplets. "Jenni called me immediately after she was told. She told me over the phone," James said.

At first, James didn't believe it because he thought his wife was joking. To convince her, Jenni sent him an ultrasound photo. "She sent me a photo of all three babies with their heads together in her belly and my jaw dropped," James said.

James shared that he felt both worried and happy to the point of crying. Because taking care of 3 children at the same time is not easy.

All three babies were born on March 31. Doctors said the premature babies, named Harper-Gwen, Marvella and Evalynn, were born weighing 1.3 kg, 1.4 kg and 1.35 kg respectively.

Because they were so young, the babies were admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at York Hospital in Yorkshire. After 1 month, their health stabilized and they were discharged. Thus, Ms. Jenni and Mr. James now have 5 daughters, of which the 3 youngest daughters are completely identical, literally, according to Daily Mail .

Because the three of them looked so much alike, the couple tried to differentiate them. "For the first two days after returning from the hospital, we kept the name tags on their arms. Because if we took them off, Jenni and I turned away and someone shuffled the babies, it would be very difficult for us to differentiate them," James said. After that, they used three different cribs to avoid confusing the babies.
