Beauty pageant contestants visit and learn about Cam Pha Mining area

Continuing the series of experiential activities, promoting the natural beauty and cultural characteristics of Quang Ninh people, on the morning of July 16, the contestants of the final round of Miss Tourism Vietnam 2024 visited 12/11 Square; offered incense and learned about Uncle Ho's relics when visiting Deo Nai mine; viewed the entire mining area from the observation tower and learned about the activities of the Automobile Workshop of Deo Nai Coal Joint Stock Company - Coc Sau - TKV.

40 contestants of the 2024 Miss Tourism Vietnam Finals visited and took souvenir photos at November 12 Square.

At the tourist destinations, the contestants were briefly introduced to the history of November 12 - "Indomitable Mining Day"; learned about the Cam Pha Mining area, about the tradition of "Discipline and Unity" - the most typical cultural feature of the Mining working class and also one of the two components of Quang Ninh culture.

The Vietnamese "tourism ambassadors" were also introduced to the National Historical Site of Uncle Ho's visit to Deo Nai Mine; and an overview of the activities of the Automobile Workshop of Deo Nai - Coc Sau Coal Joint Stock Company - TKV.

Candidates offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the National Historical Site of Uncle Ho's Visit to Deo Nai Mine.

Through listening to the retelling of his instructions when visiting the opening ceremony on March 30, 1959; and at the same time directly learning about the labor and production activities of the workers of the Automobile Workshop, the beauty contestants had the opportunity to understand and love the land and people of the coal region more. Thereby, continuing to spread the image of Cam Pha, Quang Ninh with its beautiful, majestic nature and rich history, long-standing revolutionary traditions and unique cultural features that cannot be found anywhere else...

Top 40 Vietnamese beauty queens listened to an introduction about the event of Uncle Ho visiting and talking with Deo Nai mine workers in 1959 and took souvenir photos with officers and workers of Deo Nai - Coc Sau Coal Joint Stock Company - TKV.

The beautiful tourists took the opportunity to capture souvenir photos with the majestic scenery of Cam Pha coal region seen from the observation tower of the National Historical Site of Uncle Ho's Visit to Deo Nai Mine.
