Thanh Hoa's key tourist attractions simultaneously welcomed a huge number of visitors during the National Day holiday on September 2.

During the September 2nd holiday (from August 31st to September 3rd), coastal, ecological, cultural, historical and spiritual tourist areas in Thanh Hoa province simultaneously welcomed a large number of visitors. Sam Son City led the province with nearly 200,000 visitors.

Sam Son City continues to be the leading destination for visitors in the province during the holiday season.

According to information from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VH,TT&DL), this year's September 2nd holiday, the whole province welcomed 395,700 visitors, an increase of 20.4% compared to the 2023 holiday. Of which, the number of overnight guests reached 140,500 (accounting for 35.5% of the total number of visitors).

Pu Luong Community Ecotourism Area (Ba Thuoc) reaches 100% room occupancy.

Leading the number of visitors in the province is Sam Son City, with 198,200 visitors. Next is Pu Luong Community Ecotourism Area (Ba Thuoc) welcoming 59,500 visitors; Hai Tien Marine Ecotourism Area (Hoang Hoa) welcoming 57,600 visitors; Hai Hoa and Bai Dong Marine Ecotourism Area (Nghi Son town) welcoming 47,300 visitors and Thanh Hoa City 43,600 visitors...

Hai Tien beach tourism is colorful, with a variety of attractive entertainment activities.

Along with that, some tourist areas and spots that mainly serve visitors in the province also welcomed a large number of visitors such as the World Cultural Heritage of Ho Dynasty Citadel (Vinh Loc) welcomed 10,000 visitors; Cam Luong fish stream (Cam Thuy) welcomed 5,000 visitors; Lam Kinh Historical Relic Site (Tho Xuan) welcomed 4,800 visitors; Ben En National Park Eco-tourism Area (Nhu Thanh) welcomed 3,000 visitors...

Tourists visit outdoor exhibition spaces at the World Cultural Heritage Citadel of the Ho Dynasty (Vinh Loc).

With a large number of tourists coming to visit and relax, the total tourism revenue of the whole province during the holiday reached 870.5 billion VND, an increase of 31.3% over the same period in 2023. The occupancy rate of accommodation rooms in the whole province reached 35% - 37%, with Pu Luong Community Ecotourism Area alone having a room occupancy rate of 100%.

According to the report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, conditions of security, order, environmental sanitation, food safety... at tourist service areas, locations and establishments are guaranteed, no "incidents" occurred during the holiday.
