TPO - The investment project to complete the Chua Boc - Thai Ha traffic intersection is gradually being completed, expected to ease traffic congestion, which is currently a traffic hotspot.

The investment project to complete the Chua Boc - Thai Ha traffic intersection was approved by the Hanoi People's Committee in 2014. The project was approved for adjustment in Decision No. 8006/QD-UBND dated November 17, 2017, Decision No. 4437/QD-UBND dated October 2, 2020. After more than 10 years, the project is gradually taking shape.

The project has a total investment of over 535 billion VND. Of which, over 470 billion VND is for site clearance with an area of ​​about 0.98 hectares. The project runs from the gate of the Banking Academy through the intersection, to Tay Son Street and ends at the gate of the Trade Union University.

According to the reporter's records, after more than 1 year of construction, the 1/4 corner has completed site clearance, the road is paved, and vehicles can circulate through the above area.

The project has a total length of 521.03m, with a road width of 23-30m.

The project is completing the final items such as sidewalk paving, drainage, lighting, trees...

Workers are rushing to complete the project.

To serve the Chua Boc - Thai Ha traffic intersection project, the Hanoi City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board has demolished houses within the planning area.

This land clearance area has 110 households in the planning area that must be relocated.

Many houses were destroyed next to the project.

The street area is messy, with many unfinished houses.

Some temporary houses were built after the project completed the rough construction.

Although formed, the road surface is still rough, many sections are jagged, and many cracks appear.

The narrow sidewalk near the Banking Academy under construction is still uneven, causing difficulty for pedestrians.

The project is expected to be completed under the direction of Hanoi City on August 30, 2024.
