Can Gio has an international hospital that meets the 'gold standard'

Vingroup Corporation has just announced that it plans to start construction of Vinmec Can Gio International General Hospital in Vinhomes Green Paradise urban area (Long Hoa commune, Can Thanh town, Can Gio district, Ho Chi Minh City) in August according to the standards of Cleveland Clinic - one of the world's leading academic medical systems.

Cleveland Clinic is a non-profit academic health system that has been ranked among the top in the US for many years, with titles such as "Best Hospital 2024 - 2025" for cardiovascular care in several countries on US News & World Report; "Best Hospital in the World 2025" for 7 consecutive years by Newsweek.

In Vietnam, Vinmec is the only unit that fully meets the strict criteria on medical quality to join the Cleveland Clinic Connected network. In particular, the Vinmec Can Gio project is the first Vinmec facility that Cleveland Clinic participated in planning and building from the beginning according to the "gold standard" of global health organizations.

Specifically, the team of doctors and core staff of Vinmec Can Gio will be trained directly at Cleveland Clinic - the leading medical center in the US according to 3 specialized programs, suitable for each functional group. In terms of expertise, according to the cooperation agreement, Cleveland Clinic will send leading experts to participate in consultations (directly or remotely) on complex cases with the team of doctors at Vinmec. Domestic and international visitors will have the opportunity to access high-quality clinical care services, according to Cleveland Clinic standards right in Ho Chi Minh City. In case of need for intensive treatment, Vinmec Can Gio will support referrals for patients to leading hospitals in the Cleveland Clinic system in the US.
