This afternoon, May 9, the Resident Reporters Club in Quang Tri held a ceremony to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its establishment on May 12 (2014-2024). Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Ho Dai Nam attended.

The Resident Reporters Club in Quang Tri currently has 30 reporters and collaborators participating. Over the past 10 years, the Club has created a playground and forum for resident reporters in the area to exchange experiences, understand each other and have more information channels to better promote the province's image in all fields. Club members have written tens of thousands of news and articles in various fields to convey to readers and listeners. The team of reporters in the Club has a firm political ideology, high professional expertise, and has won many central and local journalism awards.
Besides professional activities, reporters in the Club actively participate in social charity work, thereby bringing thousands of gifts to people and students in difficult circumstances in the province.
Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang congratulated and acknowledged the contributions of the Resident Reporters Club in Quang Tri for promptly conveying the province's information on various areas of social life to readers and listeners as well as organizing social charity activities to help many people in difficult circumstances to improve their lives.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang informed about a number of programs and plans for socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security of the province, thereby requesting resident reporters to continue to accompany the province to inform readers about the land and people of Quang Tri and the policies and guidelines of the province to organizations, individuals and investors coming to learn about investment opportunities in the province.
In recognition of the achievements, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded a certificate of merit to the Resident Reporters Club in Quang Tri for its achievements in propaganda work on Quang Tri province in the period 2014-2024.
